Canvas Architecture + Design is a boutique hospitality focused firm based in Orlando, Florida that specializes in creating unique guest experiences. We are currently looking for a Junior Interior Designer to join our team. This is an uncommon opportunity to join a quickly growing firm, in its early stages, which provides the opportunity for an outsized impact and rapid growth. The ideal candidate would have not only a passion for hospitality design but an interest in graphics and branding as well.
Responsibilities
Working with the Principal, the Junior Interior Designer will work on all phases of projects including:
-Preparing initial concept packages
-Coordinating with local product representatives
-Working on schematic design including modeling and rendering early designs
-Working on construction documents
Qualifications
-0-3 Years of Related Work Experience
-Bachelors of Interior Design
-A desire to learn
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Proficiency in AutoCAD/Adobe Suite/ Sketchup
-Strong graphic presentation skills
This position requires availability to work in the office multiple days per week. We will accept applicants interested in working part time as well with a minimum requirement of 20 HRS per week
