- Develop and provide models, documents, and definitions that meet stakeholder requirements across manufacturing, analysis, and project teams.
- Implement automated workflows for repeat design processes using standard features and house styles.
- Drive zero-defect design through proactive elimination of non-conformances and incorporating manufacturability and measurement capabilities into the design process.
- Conduct basic engineering analyses (e.g., stiffness, balance, weight) and apply dimensioning formulas to underwrite design decisions.
- Ensure quality assurance through review and verification of models, drawings, and design documents.
- Create and maintain technical documentation in alignment with corporate policies and knowledge management standards.
- Support supply chain enablement and product lifecycle profitability by managing non-conformance reports, drawing alterations, repair instructions, and engine manual updates.
- Plan and manage outsourced design work, ensuring alignment with technical and document standards.
- Execute sub-system integration using systems engineering, risk management, and robust design tools.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (not Computer Engineering)

- Solid understanding of mechanical design methodologies and cross-disciplinary engineering principles (manufacturing, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, cost, etc.)
- Proficiency in engineering analysis, modeling, and documentation processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to make technically and commercially balanced decisions
- Knowledge of product integrity, liability, and certification frameworks
Preferred Qualifications - Membership in a recognized professional engineering body
- Chartered Engineer status or actively working toward it (or regional equivalent)
