The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The Guest Service Associate is responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner and assisting guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage (where applicable) during arrival and departure. Essential functions include maintaining a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients; greeting guests; parking and retrieving vehicles cautiously; assisting guests with bell services and luggage; providing guests with directions, taxi, reservations, and other inquiries; explaining parking rates and retrieval procedures; issuing claim checks and collecting them; completing and maintaining all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt; calculating and collecting revenue when needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, minimum age of 18, ability to pass background and drug screen, and one month related experience or equivalent. Physical demands include ability to talk, hear, sit or stand for extended periods, run, walk, handle objects, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 100 pounds occasionally. Work is mostly outdoors and subject to weather conditions. Travel up to 5% may be required.
