Position: News Producer/Content Editor Location: Denver, CO | Full Time Responsibilities: Develop and organize local Spanish-language newscasts, including writing, story development, and overseeing broadcasts. Collaborate with News Managers, Assignment Editors, and reporters to determine content needs. Enhance content with graphics, videos, research, and station branding. Write clearly for multiple platforms, post content online, and edit video content. Lead daily editorial meetings, develop story ideas, and coordinate interviews and logistics. Monitor news sources and disseminate information to the newsroom. Write compelling stories for broadcasts and web, call sources, and follow up on leads. Use station graphics and media to craft stories for online and on-air presentation. Work closely with team members to ensure flawless newscasts. Update station's social media regularly. Skills and Qualifications: Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English. Experience with iNews and Adobe Premiere preferred. Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines. Strong editorial judgment, journalistic ethics, and knowledge of libel laws. Experience posting news on social media platforms. Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related field. Fluent in Spanish, with strong proficiency in media tools.
