Job Description
Established in 1991, King Estate is located in Eugene in the Willamette Valley AVA. At 1,033 acres, it is the largest certified Biodynamic® vineyard in North America. King Estate is famed for its world-class Oregon Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in a career in hospitality. The successful candidate will demonstrate speed, efficiency, and initiative.
Requirements/Competencies :
· Strong wine knowledge
· Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
· Energetic and positive leader with exceptional customer service skills
· Ability to multi-task and quickly troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment
· Two years or more of experience in high-volume tasting room and/or restaurant
· Experience and working knowledge of POS and reservations systems
· Ability to assist with any position in the Tasting Room including opening and closing procedures
Other Requirements
· Age 21+
· Maintain professional demeanor and dress
· Have or ability to obtain a valid OLCC and food handlers card
· Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
· Ability to lift 40 lbs regularly, stand and walk for extended periods of time
