This role is responsible for providing technical and business skills and contributing to advanced solutions in various sectors including environmental, chemical, commercial, manufacturing, government, energy, financial, insurance, and legal. This position is 100% remote. The candidate should have experience managing consulting assignments, work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams, be proficient in analysis and communication of information, and work cooperatively with agencies, organizations, and individuals to guide decision-making. The candidate must also demonstrate proficiency in project management and collaboration across the organization. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Client Management & Communication: Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular project updates. Collaborate with project teams, including environmental engineers, geologists, and technicians. Communicate complex technical information clearly to clients and stakeholders. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Coordinate with regulatory agencies for approvals, permits, and closure documentation. Prepare and submit reports such as site investigations, risk assessments, remedial plans, progress, and closure reports. Maintain current knowledge of environmental regulations and guidelines. Remediation Planning/Implementation: Develop and implement remediation plans based on site investigations and risk assessments. Design and oversee remediation strategies, including excavation, soil vapor extraction, groundwater treatment, and bioremediation. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and permits during remediation. Site Assessments: Manage/conduct site investigations to identify contamination sources, evaluate risks, and develop remediation strategies. Collect and analyze environmental samples following standard protocols. Perform data interpretation, risk assessment, and modeling to assess contamination impact. Quality Control: Implement quality assurance measures for data collection and reporting. Conduct audits and reviews to verify compliance. Address deviations or discrepancies promptly. The Ideal Candidate should have: Current PE or PG license Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or related field 10+ years’ experience in site investigations, remediation, and evaluations Solid understanding of environmental regulations and best practices Excellent project management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of sampling techniques and laboratory analysis methods Founded in 1986, HETI is a nationwide environmental services company specializing in site assessment, remediation, risk characterization, occupational health and safety, and litigation support.
