Role Description The Senior Brand Marketing & Communications Manager will be pivotal in differentiating our company. As the lead brand advocate, you will promote our history and culture while adapting to a rapidly expanding company in dynamic markets. Collaboration with peers and leaders across departments, including corporate communications, HR, and senior management, is essential. Based at our headquarters, reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, you will manage our brand assets and lead various company-wide projects that require excellent writing and storytelling skills. You will produce diverse content such as presentations, web pages, reports, articles, videos, and social media posts aimed at attracting and engaging customers and team members. Key Responsibilities Create and develop communication tools like infographics and presentations to support business growth and talent acquisition. Oversee brand strategy, standards, and guidelines, serving on the Brand Governance Committee. Lead content creation for web and digital assets, including a structured review process. Manage the annual CSR report and related storytelling initiatives. Align stakeholders on plans and timelines to meet organizational goals. Deepen understanding of customer industries and needs to craft resonant brand content. Develop insights for thought leadership and brand positioning that set Mortenson apart. Deliver compelling content across multiple formats and channels. Coordinate with external resources and ensure stakeholder alignment. Maintain brand voice and style consistency across all touchpoints. Lead and develop one team member, fostering team success through coaching and performance management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or related field. Minimum of ten years in B2B brand management, content marketing, or related areas. Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional writing skills for professional audiences, preferably in a services industry. Strong research skills and industry understanding. Expertise in messaging, narrative development, and visual communication tools like PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience navigating large, matrixed organizations and digital asset management. Responsive, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
