Job Overview:
We are seeking a responsible and motivated Scale Operator to join our team at our high-traffic scrap processing facility in Medford. The successful candidate will be responsible for weighing trucks in and out throughout the day and managing related administrative tasks. This role requires excellent multitasking skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with computers. Spanish-speaking candidates are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weigh trucks in and out accurately and efficiently.
• Enter data for peddlers and commercial accounts into the computer system.
• Create and manage shipments for sales and landfill activities.
• Handle high-volume traffic and activity at the headquarters facility.
• Maintain organized and accurate records.
• Provide excellent customer service to drivers and clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the operations of the facility.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software.
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a high-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
