About the role

 

We have a great opportunity for a Quality Systems & Regulatory Manager to join us, at our site in Coleraine.

 

This is a broad role, responsible for all site Quality Management Systems ensuring that the requirements of Kerry standards, site Food Security and Safety Programs, Group Regulatory policies, Product specifications and all other Customer requirements are fully incorporated into the running of the site.

 

This is a Monday – Friday role, with some occasional requirement to work outside these hours.

What you'll be doing

  • Development, implementation and compliance of standards, processes and systems across the site.
  • Ensuring a high level of awareness and understanding of all appropriate Quality policies, procedures and systems.
  • Providing skilled Technical Systems support to the Quality and Production teams and to ensure a standardised approach to all QMS activities on site.
  • Maintaining site Quality Management System (QMS) framework procedures ensuring agreed updates and amendments are implemented and controlled.
  • Ensuring the site QMS fully incorporates Group Quality, Group Regulatory, Customer and 3rd party Standards.
  • Ensuring that all quality documentation and reference material is accurate, controlled and up to date through auditing. Forms, procedures etc.
  • Ensuring all materials extended to site have necessary approvals and are correctly set up on SAP.
  • Generating, maintaining and updating as necessary all internal KPI and customer reports providing accurate data analysis and trending.
  • Ensuring that the site has a robust traceability procedure and that it is regularly challenged.
  • Ensuring that there is a robust QMS Internal Audit Programme in place, covering all aspects of Customer Technical standards.
  • Supplier management where required.
  • Ensuring all customer product specification are in place, agreed and signed off.
  • Additional tasks will form part of the role specification for this position and can be provided on request.

What you can bring to the role

  • Significant experience within a similar role, managing and leading food safety, quality and legality within food manufacturing.
  • Degree level qualification in Food Science/Safety or equivalent.
  • HACCP Level 3 Qualification
  • Internal Auditing trained
  • Experience in management of BRC and retailer technical standards
  • Strong IT skills – previous experience of SAP would be beneficial
