ASM Global - Richmond, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Production Runner at Altria Theater and Dominion Energy Center. Under general direction of the Production/Events Manager, this individual is responsible for various errands associated with the production and operations of various shows. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include providing transportation for various personnel throughout the show day, running errands such as department meals, laundry, grocery shopping, package delivery, equipment rentals, coffee runs, coordinating large take-out orders with local restaurants, purchasing, retrieving, and distributing to touring personnel, coordinating large shopping lists from local grocery stores and delivering to the venue, assisting production staff with general production-related duties, maintaining cash and receipts for expense reimbursement and reconciliation, providing local area information to touring staff, picking up and dropping off company-rented 15-passenger and cargo vans, light administrative duties such as making copies, posting signs and cash reconciliation, maintaining confidentiality, and performing various special projects and tasks assigned. Qualifications include being 21 years of age or older, having a valid driver's license with a good driving record, safe driving habits, being friendly and personable, punctual, reliable, professional and courteous, ability to work long days (16 to 18 hours), ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of the local area preferred, passion for accomplishment and success, valuing teamwork and collaboration, demonstrating high personal ethics and professional integrity, and ability to travel up to 50%. Other qualifications include ability to work with limited supervision and as a team member, and ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include extensive walking, occasional lifting/moving up to 75 pounds unassisted, and possible work inside and outside with exposure to adverse conditions.
