Housekeeper Needed for Private Family Residence (Roanoke, VA)

A loving and busy family in Roanoke, VA is looking for a professional, energetic, and self-motivated housekeeper to help keep their home clean, organized, and running smoothly. With two active teenagers (ages 13 and 15), life can get hectic, and we need someone who can take initiative and support our household with cleaning, light cooking, and organization.

We are looking for someone who is trustworthy and proactive - you will not be micro-managed we need a housekeeper who can anticipate needs and take ownership of the role.

Schedule:

• Flexible : We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates.
• Ideal hours begin at 8:30/9:00 a.m. , with the option of a 4-hour to 8-hour workday depending on availability and fit.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning : dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
• Sanitize and maintain bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and floors.
• Clean and organize kitchen areas , including countertops, appliances, and dishwashing.
• Change bed linens and make beds.
• Wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry, including clothes, towels, and linens.
• Organize clutter and ensure items are in their proper places.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Run errands as needed.

What Were Looking For:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Comfortable in a high-energy household - there's a lot of movement, including up and down stairs!
• Someone up for challenges and flexible with changes.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision .
• Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet - respect for confidentiality is a must.
