Job Description:

This role is responsible for the merchant rewards process and control management. Key responsibilities include managing merchant and subscription rebate SPIs, processes, controls, key performance metrics, process management, and serving as the primary point of contact for legal, risk, and controls. The role involves ensuring controls are aligned with processes and responsibilities, ensuring offers presented to clients comply with guidelines and procedures, and delivering on commitments to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops comprehensive plans for product development and deployment, including supporting sales training programs and marketing materials to educate clients and internal teams on product capabilities.
  • Oversees product sets and maintains financials, managing investment profiles and profit & loss (P&L) activities such as revenue and profit margins.
  • Provides insights on product trends to sales and marketing teams, leveraging knowledge of product functionality, marketplace trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline or enhance product offerings to meet client needs and support growth and operational excellence.
  • Implements and monitors effective controls in partnership with support teams to manage risk.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to gather insights about markets, clients, and competitors to develop products that meet client needs and ensure high adoption rates.
  • Develops and influences product strategy to deliver comprehensive solutions across the bank.
  • Leads control efforts across Merchant Rewards, coordinating legal and risk activities.
  • Manages SPI, processes, controls, and key metrics.
  • Serves as SME on product risk, particularly around conversion to Triple.
  • Acts as the Merchant Rewards process manager.
  • Participates in strategic product discussions and future vision planning.
  • Acts as a key liaison with Risk, Legal, Audit, control tower, finance, and settlement teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial industry.
  • At least 2 years of control, risk, or process management experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Experience with ORSIT, POP.

Pay Transparency details:

US - NY - New York - 1114 Avenue Of The Americas - Grace (NY1544)

Pay range: $113,000.00 - $165,100.00 annually, with offers based on experience, education, and skills. Discretionary incentive eligibility applies. This role is benefits eligible, offering industry-leading benefits, paid time off, and resources to support employees in making a meaningful impact and contributing to sustainable growth.
