The Role in a NutshellAs a Medical Equipment Hygiene Technician, you'll be pivotal in ensuring hospital sterilization devices remain in peak condition. Working closely with a skilled team, you'll handle the meticulous cleaning and basic maintenance of vital hospital machinery, partnering effectively with clientele to manage high-stress environments.
Travel and Scheduling Essentials:
This expansive field service role requires considerable travel (up to 75%). You'll typically drive a company-provided vehicle, returning it home each day, and sometimes you'll fly longer distances for work. Expect shifts across various hours, including weekends, to meet client demands in this full-time position. Residency in Washington state is necessary.
What Will You Do?Deliver exceptional client service by quickly addressing and resolving complaints, showcasing effective communication skills.
Engage with clients to advise on preventive care, ensuring efficient scheduling and transparency around equipment servicing.
Execute sterilizer cleaning tasks, managing chemical compositions and adhering to safety protocols for safe material disposal.
Work in tandem with scheduling personnel to optimize your service itinerary for maximum efficiency.
Promptly report operational issues to designated team members to maintain top-tier equipment functionality.
Employ technology to finalize administrative responsibilities, ensuring meticulous record keeping.
Maintain a well-organized company vehicle, monitoring inventory supplies and reporting maintenance needs.
Essentials:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum three years’ experience, with at least one year in relevant service or technical roles.
Technical certifications or military credentials can substitute for conventional experience.
Flexible work availability, including weekends, with near-constant travel readiness.
Competency with digital tools and effective customer interaction.
Keen sense of organization and troubleshooting expertise.
Ability to thrive independently within dynamic environments.
