The Manager of Project Management will oversee and lead the project management team, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management methodologies and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing project processes, mentoring project managers, and ensuring alignment with company goals.
Job Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the project management team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
· Develop and implement project management methodologies, standards, and tools to optimize project delivery.
· Oversee the planning, execution, and closing of projects, ensuring they meet organizational objectives, and timelines
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
· Monitor project performance and progress, providing regular status updates to senior management.
· Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project management team.
· Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across multiple projects.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in project management.
· Facilitate project-related meetings, workshops, and post-project evaluations.
· Prepare and present project reports, dashboards, and documentation to stakeholders.
Education and Work Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
· 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role preferred
· Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
· Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Roadmunk).
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Experience in resource management and capacity planning.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
· Experience in Software Development preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
· Knowledge of product management tools and methodologies.
