Intergenerational Arts Coordinator

Position Summary
Treehouse Easthampton is currently seeking a highly creative individual to join our Intergenerational Support Team as Intergenerational Arts Coordinator (IAC). The IAC will utilize the arts and creative process to cultivate community, promote engagement, foster enduring connections, build leadership capacity among youth, and act as a bridge to understanding across generations and differences. The IAC position is primarily located in our Treehouse Easthampton Community, but also serves as the Managing Director for Truth Tellers Theater Ensemble, coordinating and collaborating with our partner Priscilla Kane Hellweg of Arts Integration Studio in Holyoke, MA.
The Intergenerational Arts Coordinator Responsibilities
Working closely with the Clinical Supervisor, the Associate Site Director, the Intergenerational Support Team, the Intergenerational Arts Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

Truth Tellers Theater Ensemble
Truth Tellers Theater Ensemble is an intergenerational, youth-centered ensemble that collaborates in theater-making to share their stories of lived experience with foster care, kinship care, and adoption. As a collective, we devise a performance to raise awareness and dispel myths about childhood trauma, and help create positive change in the child welfare system. The program runs from October - May and culminates in a performance series, including performances for legislators and child advocates at the Massachusetts State House, and caseworkers from the Department of Children and Families at the De La Luz Theater in Holyoke. Truth Tellers rehearses one to two days per week from 3:30pm to 6:30pm with occasional evening and weekend hours required.

Benefits and Compensation
This is an exempt full time 40 hour a week position with full benefits. The annual pay range is $60,000-$65,000, commensurate with experience.

Location: Onsite in Easthampton and Holyoke, Massachusetts
Travel: Occasional travel required
Full Time: 40 hour week
We offer a paid time off package including 12 paid holidays, 3 weeks of vacation plus the last week of December off, and generous sick time and personal time. Given the nature of this role, the IAC may need to work some portion of the last week of December. Should that occur, the IAC will receive an equivalent amount of additional paid time off to be used during the year. The position includes a generous benefits package of health, dental, vision, life, short-term and long-term disability insurances, and simple IRA retirement plan with 2% employer contribution. We offer flexible schedules and start and end times where possible.
