We invite you to become an integral part of our maintenance team as an Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician. Join us at our San Jose, CA plant, where you'll work in a dynamic, supportive environment to ensure our machinery operates efficiently while continuously improving our maintenance practices. This position operates on a 7 pm to 7 am shift, offering a competitive starting rate of $34.05-$40.93 per hour, along with up to 3 weeks of vacation upon hire!

The Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and necessary repairs on various industrial machinery and equipment. At Kellanova, teamwork is encouraged, and you will work closely with other members of the maintenance team to keep production lines running smoothly. You'll gain expertise in specialized equipment and automation systems, with opportunities to pursue certifications or additional training to further develop your skills.

A Sneak Peek of Your Responsibilities

• Performing Preventative Maintenance - Carry out troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment. Your attention to quality will be vital in ensuring seamless production flow.
• Enhancing Performance Efficiency - Oversee machine performance by managing equipment set-up and change-overs. You will respond quickly to any equipment breakdowns to facilitate ongoing production.
• Adhering to Best Practices - Comprehend, adhere to, and enforce all established guidelines. Your meticulous nature will help maintain compliance with all safety, health, and quality policies and procedures, ensuring our continued success.

We Seek Candidates Who Have

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day
• Experience with troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing setting
