The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) is seeking an Undergraduate Intern based in our San Francisco Office. This is a paid internship position that reports to a ILRC Staff member. It is a hands-on, fast-paced role that will support and contribute to the growth of all aspects of the ILRCs communications endeavors.

The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) is a national non-profit legal resource center that provides legal trainings, educational materials, and advocacy to advance immigrant rights. The ILRC works to protect and defend the rights of immigrants and their families by working with immigrants, community organizations, and the legal sector to continue to build a democratic society that values diversity and the rights of all people. Our primary practice areas include: citizenship; the intersection between immigration and criminal law; remedies for immigrant children and youth; removal defense; family-based relief; immigration enforcement; remedies for victims of crimes; and asylum law.

Scope:

Interns will be assigned to a variety of projects and supervised by an ILRC staff member. Assignments span the ILRC's diverse project areas and includes providing administrative support to programmatic staff.

Interns are an integral part of our team, contributing to various projects and tasks that are crucial to the smooth operation of the company. You'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on diverse projects and tasks, including but not limited to aiding in organizing meetings, updating and developing community resources, working on communications tasks, translating and redacting documents, researching, maintaining records, and providing general office support.There will also be opportunities to attend immigration workshops if interested.

Applicants with research and writing skills and a demonstrated commitment to immigration issues are encouraged to apply.

The internship will remain open until April 25, 2025. The internship will approximately start on June 9th and ends on August 15th .
