Job Summary
The Light Industrial Employment Specialist is responsible for recruiting, screening, and placing qualified candidates in light industrial roles, such as warehouse, manufacturing, and production positions. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their staffing needs, sourcing candidates, and ensuring a smooth hiring process. The specialist will build strong relationships with both clients and candidates to meet workforce demands efficiently.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment and Sourcing : Identify and attract candidates through job postings, social media, job fairs, and other sourcing methods to fill light industrial positions.
Candidate Screening : Conduct interviews, assess skills, and verify qualifications, including background checks and reference checks, to ensure candidates meet job requirements.
Client Collaboration : Work closely with clients to understand their staffing needs, job specifications, and workplace culture to provide tailored staffing solutions.
Placement and Follow-Up : Match candidates to appropriate roles, coordinate onboarding, and follow up to ensure successful placements and client satisfaction.
Compliance : Ensure all hiring processes comply with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates to foster trust and repeat business.
Administrative Tasks : Maintain accurate records of candidate and client interactions, manage job orders, and track placement metrics.
Preferred education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
Experience : 1-3 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or human resources, preferably in light industrial or staffing environments.
Skills :
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients and candidates.
Knowledge of light industrial roles, such as warehouse operations, assembly, or machine operation.
Ability to multitask and manage high-volume recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (Q4) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of labor laws and safety regulations.
