Job Description

A global leading industrial manufacturer is looking to appoint an EHS Manager to oversee this function at their Meadville, PA area location. This position will sit within the senior management team for the location, acting as the standalone EHS professional within a high-risk, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be tasked with influencing a healthy safety culture, requiring the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels of the business.

The Role:

• Influences Plant, Production, Operations, Maintenance and site management to drive the EHS performance and results.
• Help develop and implement EHS programs to comply with facility targets, including EHS Regulatory Compliance and Accident Prevention.
• Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact in respect to all EHS matters.
• Lead self and others in EHS audits, risk assessments, and training.
• Interact with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

The Candidate:

• 6+ years in operational and EHS roles within a manufacturing setting.
• 2+ years managing multiple direct reports.
• B.S. degree in EHS-related field required.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and 45001 programs.
• General understanding of PSM regulations.
• Knowledgeable of applicable OSHA and EPA regulations
• Energetic, effective communicating, detail oriented, creative problem solving, self-motivated individual
• Ability to work well with multi-functional teams or independently
