Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) is seeking candidates for cybersecurity roles to support multiple opportunities with public, private and government organizations. These opportunities may be located at company or customer locations throughout the US or may be remote.

Entry-Level Cybersecurity Roles

• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, operating systems, and basic security principles.
  • Experience with basic tools like firewalls, antivirus software, and monitoring systems.
• Certifications:
  • CompTIA Security+ (General cybersecurity knowledge, good for beginners)
  • CompTIA Network+ (Networking fundamentals)
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) (Focuses on penetration testing basics)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Practitioner (CISSP) (Associate level for beginners)

Mid-Level Cybersecurity Roles

• Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity.
  • Hands-on experience with system administration, incident response, or penetration testing.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Certifications:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (Advanced security management)
