Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

The CNC Machine Operator will utilize overhead crane and forklift to place tubes and pipes onto the machine. They will set the machine cut length, program the machine, and continue feeding the product into the machine. They will then pull the finished and cut product and measure to the exact length to ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Utilize overhead crane and forklift to place tubes and pipes onto the machine.
• Set and program machine cut length.
• Feed product into the machine.
• Pull finished and cut product, measuring to ensure quality.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of CNC Machine Operator experience.
• Experience with machine setup, changeovers, and measuring.
• Ability to read a tape measure with strong measuring skills to 1/32" accuracy.
• Experience with metal machine operating.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with laser, lathe, mill, crane operation, CNC saw, and overhead crane.
• CNC operating, particularly with direct CNC saw and fabrication, is a major plus.

Work Environment

The position is based in an industrial, climate-controlled environment. It is a 1st shift role, Monday to Friday from 6 am to 2 pm. Expect to work 10-hour days and some Saturdays during busy seasons. The role involves a professional dress code suitable for a manufacturing setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
