Business Analyst Trade Flow & Securities Support (Hybrid, Midtown NYC)

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY (Hybrid – 3 to 4 days onsite)

Type: Contract

Duration: 6/23/2025 – 12/19/2025 (with possibility of extension; not a contract-to-hire role)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support a special project focused on enhancing back-office processes and technology within a capital markets environment. This role reports to the Head Business Analyst and will collaborate closely with Project Managers, technology teams, and functional stakeholders across global and regional entities.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and approval of project deliverables including business requirements, functional specifications, and UAT documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project scope and milestones.
• Maintain project documentation including meeting notes, risk/issue logs, and status updates.
• Define project scope, objectives, and delivery plans in partnership with front-to-back stakeholders.
• Manage and sequence project activities and resources effectively.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis within the broker-dealer or capital markets domain.
• Strong understanding of trade flows, securities processing, and vendor platform integrations.
• Familiarity with REPOs, settlement processes, collateral management, and margin workflows.
• Familiarity with settlement processes, collateral management, and margin workflows.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income products and Broadridge’s IMPACT system is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
