Brand Marketing and Communications Manager

About Pryor Learning: Pryor Learning is a leading provider of corporate training, offering both in-person and online sessions to millions of individuals and organizations, including small businesses, governments, nonprofits, and Fortune 500 companies.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Brand Marketing and Communications Manager to lead our brand and MARCOM strategy, execution, and team. This role is pivotal in driving our brand strategy, enhancing brand equity, and ensuring our communications resonate with our audience.

This position reports to the VP of Marketing and is hybrid, with 5 – 8 in office days in our Mission, Kansas headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Voice and Personality:

  • Develop and maintain a strong, consistent brand voice and personality across all communication channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create and edit engaging content.
  • Establish and uphold brand guidelines for content and visual assets.

Advertising and Content Coordination:

  • Support advertising campaigns with brand-consistent content and timely delivery of materials.
  • Oversee website content, ensuring accuracy and SEO optimization.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to manage content updates and measure their impact.
  • Coordinate with digital team to innovate modern, relevant, and effective ways to reach and communicate with our audiences (podcasts, use of AI)

Social Media Management:

  • Grow and manage our social media presence by creating, curating, and publishing relevant content.
  • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and build a strong online community.
  • Analyze performance metrics to refine strategies and increase visibility.

Sales and Marketing Support:

  • Provide resources for the sales team, including presentations and marketing materials.
  • Assist in creating client presentations and maintaining intranet content.
  • Partner with the Sales team for lead and client growth initiatives

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the brand and MARCOM team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
  • Develop and execute brand marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention.
  • Ensure all marketing communications meet high standards of quality and consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional MARCOM skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and UX/CX best practices.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Experience with PR, newswires and corporate communications.
  • Experience managing agency relationships.
  • Strong business acumen, ability to define and measure KPI's and return.
  • Re-brand/brand refresh experience.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Creative, proactive, and innovative mindset.
  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to dive into details.
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in marketing or communications leadership.
