Job Description

A full-time opportunity is available for a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist fluent in both Spanish and English to provide K-12 services within a district-wide setting in Waukegan, IL. This contract runs from August 20, 2025, through June 2, 2026, aligning with the school year calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to students across grades K-12.
  • Support communication development and address speech and language challenges in both Spanish and English.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP-School).
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Experience working within school settings, particularly with K-12 populations, is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload effectively.
