Job Description

A full-time Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist is needed to provide services in a K-12 school district-wide setting starting August 20, 2025, through June 2, 2026. This is a contract position based in Lake Villa, IL, offering a comprehensive role supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to students across the K-12 spectrum.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Engage with students in both Spanish and English to support bilingual therapy services.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certified Speech Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY).
  • Certification or licensure appropriate for school settings (SLP-School).
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English, with demonstrated bilingual clinical skills.
  • Experience working with children in educational environments preferred.
  • Ability to provide culturally responsive therapy to diverse student populations.
