1st shift – Temp-to-Hire and Great Benefits!

A well-established 3rd party logistics company that distributes products in Fairfield that offers benefits once hired.

Position Details:

Candidates are needed for an order picker/labor position.This is a 1st shift position with the hours of 6am-2:30pm (sometimes 3:30pm). this is a labor intensive position where you would be lifting items weighing between 12-75lbs, loading unloading trucks, pulling pallets of material with a forklift. The starting pay is $18.50/hr.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
Candidates will be loading product based on order/instruction forms, checking items with an RF Scanner and order picking. You will be pulling and packing orders when not on the cherry picker, you will not be on the forklift or cherri picker for your entire shift you will assist for other job duties as assigned.

HSD/GED is NOT required
Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally
Steel toed boots are required
1 year stand up forklift or cherry picker experience required; Order Picker experience is a plus
Must be willing to learn to operate equipment
Must be okay with heights (Cherry picker goes 30 feet into the air)
Must be reliable and self-motivated
Attention to detail – inventory accuracy control
